Headline:  John Walter Stone is Buried at Belah

John Walter Stone, 83, of Midway, died early last Friday morning shortly 
after midnight, at a nursing home in Pineville.  Mr. Stone had been in poor 
health for some time.

Funeral services were held at the graveside in Belah Cemetery Saturday 
afternoon, with the Rev. Jerry Poston, pastor of the Midway Baptist Church, 
conducting the rites.  Interment was under the direction of Kinner and 
Stevens Home for Funerals.

The Rev. W. W. Stone of Midway, a son, is the only survivor other than three 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
