Simpson Passed Away at Monroe Thurs. Sub-Headline: Was Well Known Mechanic at Good Pine Lumber Company Charles R. Simpson, 46 years old, for many years a machinist at the Good Pine Lumber Company, and well known in this section of the state, died Thursday of last week in Monroe, where he had been for some time during a continued illness. Mr. Simpson had served for a long time with the local lumber company and had many friends who deeply regret his passing. Death was indirectly attributed to an abscessed tooth, which was treated, but the affected member had poisoned his system and a kidney ailment resulted which could not be overcome by medical aid. The deceased is survived by his widow and two children, Bobby and Charles, his father and mother and other relatives. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Hastings of Monroe and interment was made in the Riverside Cemetery in that city.
