B. Stennett of Tullos, who died after an appendicitis operation at Ville Platte Thursday, October 9 at 5 p.m., were held at Tullos October 11 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fletcher Hart officiating. Interment took place at the New Union Cemetery located about 2 miles east of Tullos. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home, Jena. Surviving are: parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Stennett, Tullos; Mr. and Mrs. L. Tullos of Tullos, and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Stennett of Oak Grove, grandparents; Betty Jean Stennett, sister; T. O., A. H., Charlie, Lacey Tullos of Tullos, Ed Tullos of Murpheyville, Kentucky, Earnest Tullos of Corpus Christi, Texas; Clayton Tullos of Tullos, W. M. Stennett of Monroe, L. C. Stennett of Vicksburg, Miss., J. W. Stennett of Olla, Jack Stennett of Oak Grove, uncles; Mrs. R. T. Cornish of Jena, Mrs. Verdie Lee Booth of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Bertha Honeycutt of Monroe, Mrs. Vera McCullum of Monroe and Juanita Stennett of Oak Grove, aunts. Pallbearers were Inez Bruce, Nelda Mott, Helen Sykes, Reba Sykes, Estelle Sykes, and Doris Long.
