Headline: Area Deaths
Sub-Headline:  Peter Mark Shamburger

Peter Mark Shamburger, 92, of Jena, died at 1:15 p.m., Friday, September 1, 
2000, at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

He was a retired merchant in the lumber business.  He was born Nov. 27, 1907 
at Shamburger to the union of William and Mollie Shamburger.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.  Local arrangements 
were handled by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lane Tooke of Jena; Helen Lucille 
West of Columbus, Ga., and Mollie Diann Collins of Westlake; eight 
grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren.

2000, newspaper.)
