Putman Thomas Of Trout Dies

Putman Thomas, 80, of Rt. 1, Trout, died Tuesday, March 6 at 4 a.m. in the
Jena hospital.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Eden Methodist
church with the Rev. J.C. Rousseaux and the Rev. W.C. Powell officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers
funeral home.

Survivors include one brother, Lee R. Thomas of Pearl River.

Pallbearers were Aaron Greer, Paul Greer, J.D. Greer, Archie Whatley, John Lee
Dayton and Tom Burch.
