Headline:  Eugene Thompson of Walters Passed Away


Eugene Thompson died Thursday, September 5, at 10 o'clock at his 
home at Walters after an illness of 27 months.  He was 28 years of age at the 
time of his demise.

August 27, 1938, Mr. Thompson married Miss Janie Floyd who survives.  He was 
a member of the Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 7, 1946, at Pinegrove.  Rev. 
McDaniels conducted services.  Interment was at Rhinehart with Kinner & 
Stevens handling all arrangements.

Children surviving are:  one son, Archie, and one daughter, Shirley Green.
