Thomas, 60, Dies in Winnfield Funeral services for K. A. Thomas, 69, Winnfield lumberman, were held Sunday afternoon, Feb. 6, at 2:30 in the Presbyterian Church in Winnfield. Thomas died suddenly Saturday night of a heart attack. He was born and reared at White Sulphur Springs and has many friends through this area. He is survived by two brothers, Putman and Rude Thomas, and one sister, Mrs. Bertha Tillman, all of White Sulphur Springs. Thomas is a brother-in-law to U. V. Whatley, Zenoria, and H. R. Whatley, and Mrs. Lou Halle, both of Trout.
