Headline:  Area Deaths

Velren K. Tarver, 87, of Grayson, died Thursday, November 25, 1999, in the 
Haven Nursing Center in Columbia Heights.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, in the chapel of Riser 
Funeral Home in Columbia with Revs. Dennis Fontenot and Bob McIlwain 
officiating.

Interment followed in Welcome Home Cemetery near Grayson under direction of 
Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors include five sons, Tommy Tarver of Monroe, Marion Tarver and David 
Tarver, both of Grayson, Roy Lynn Tarver of Jena and Lester Tarver of 
Columbia, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
