Tarver is Buried in Texas Funeral services for Luther H. Tarver, 55, were held at 3 p.m. last Saturday at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Longview, Texas, with the Rev. T. C. Stockton conducting the final rites. Interment followed at the Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Welch's Funeral Home. Mr. Tarver, a pipeline company employee, died as a result of a heart attack suffered a week previously. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a Knight Templar and member of the Longview Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. His hobby was raising Aberdeen-Angus cattle. Surviving him are his wife and a son, Billy, of Longview; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Stevens of Longview, and five brothers, John, Tom, Walter, and Ike Tarver, all of Jena, and Jim Tarver of Crossett, Ark.
