Tingle, 70 year old farmer of Jena, Route 1, who died following a long illness on November 28 at 3:22 p.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Turner, were held November 29 at the Belah Methodist Church at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. F. W. Tinnin of Jena officiating. Interment took place at the Belah Cemetery under the direction of Upshaw Funeral Home. The deceased was a member of the Athens Baptist Church. He had resided in this community for about 30 years. Surviving are: J. A. Tingle, of Riverton, half-brother; T. A. Tingle of Grayson, half-brother; Mrs. G. E. Knight of Jonesville; Mrs. N. A. Burnside of Meridian, Miss.; Mrs. Royce Ford of Choudrant, half-sisters; Mrs. J. A. Turner, Mrs. Bill Yeates, of San Francisco, Calif., nieces; A. E. Tingle of Monroe, H. W. Tingle of Sandheimer, Homer and Forest tingle of Jena, nephews.
