Headline:  Phillip Tyler, 12, Son of Jena Grocer, Succumbs to Polio

Phillip Tyler, 12 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Tyler, passed away at 
about 6 a.m. yesterday at the polio center in Alexandria, where he had been 
confined since Monday.  Mr. Tyler, his father, is associated with the 
Save-Way Grocery in Jena.  The family's residence place is Dodson.

Immediate survivors of the child are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Tyler 
of Dodson; one sister, Delores; and two brothers, Edward Gayle and Eugene.

Funeral services were held at 2:45 p.m. today at the Nazarene Church in 
Jonesboro.
