He was a retired logging contractor, a member of Temple Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. He was born Feb. 27, 1925, at Leesville to the union of J. B. and Ethel Shaifer Terral. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 19, at Temple Baptist Church in Jena with the Revs. Carrol Garlington and Jimmy Keene officiating. Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Terral of Jena; two daughters, Carol Ann Fleming of Winnsboro and Barbara Jean Wagoner of Ferriday; one son, Marion Terral, Jr., of Jena; one brother, Freddie Mae Seab of Natchez; three brothers, Virgil Terral of Jena, T. W. Terral of Baton Rouge and Joe Bob Terral of Sterlington; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Marty McClure, Doyle Pritchard, Robert Terral, Richard Terral, Don Cox, John Brown, Joe Brown, and Robert Bailey.
