Thigpen, who passed away at his home in the Missouri Pacific Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, last Sunday evening at 8 o'clock. Mr. Thigpen will be remembered as the husband of Miss Bertha Warner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Y. Warner, of Jena. He had been in ill health for sometime and his death was caused from an operation. Funeral services were held at Rayville on Monday afternoon. The following from Jena attended the funeral services: Mr. and Mrs. W. Y. Warner, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Warner, Mrs. C. F. Wade, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Reed, and Misses Nellie Warner, Beverly Lantrip, Lester Lantrip and Rodgers Warner.
