Ida M. Thomas

Ida M. Thomas, 87, of Jena, died at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2001,
at the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Jena. She was
born October 1, 1914 to the union of Walter and Lula Ganey Miles.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1, 2002, at the chapel of
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Dominick DiCarlo and
Scotty Guillott officiating.

Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Kinner
and Stevens, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include one son, J. W. Thomas of Nebo; one sister Ima Taylor of
Jena; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Scott Thomas, Steve Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Wayne Richardson,
Horace Paulk, Rickey Miles and Jim Nowell.
