He was a retired cab driver, a Catholic and a veteran of World War II. Services were held at 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena and the Revs. Emmitte Belgard and Jim Smith officiating. Burial was in Wilbanks Cemetery near Summerville under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Opal Vicknair of Jena; one son, C. J. Vicknair of Kentucky; three daughters, Helen Beaver of Amite, Judy Foster and Linda Woodall, both of Jena; one sister, Leona Alleman; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Foster, Bobby Reeves, Pat Beaver, Danny Wilson, Leonard Wilson, and Richard Pippin.
