All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Lottie Wiggins Dies at Grayson on Sunday at Age of 85 Friends throughout this section will regret to learn of the death of Mrs. Lottie Lolette Paul Wiggins, aged 85 years , 5 months and 15 days. Mrs. Wiggins passed away at Grayson at 12:30 p.m., April 2, where she had been for the past eight months. The deceased was born on Devil's Creek on October 17, 1847 and had resided in Catahoula and LaSalle parishes practically all of her lifetime. She was the wife of the late Wash Wiggins and leaves one daughter, Mrs. Lena Hodges and one son, Jack Wiggins, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grand children as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives to mourn her passing. A short funeral services was held at Grayson Monday, after which the body was conveyed to Pine Grove cemetery near Rhinehart where it was laid to rest at 12:00 o'clock, with Rev. A.S.J. Neill, pastor of the Jena Methodist church officiating. The Times joins in extending sympathy to the family of this good woman.
