White Services Held - May 20 At Harrisonburg Funeral services for Andrew W. White, age 46, were held Sunday afternoon, May 26, 1945, at 3:00 p.m., in the Harrisonburg Cemetery with the Rev. J.O. McNair of the First Baptist Church of Jonesville officiating. Mr. White died suddenly Sunday morning at 5:45 a.m. Death resulted from a fall causing cerebral hemorrhage. He is survived by his wife, Mary Andrew White; one son, Andrew White, Jr.; three daughters, Yvonne, Maxine and Dewants; father, Willie White; two brothers, Walter and Herman, all of Jonesville; three sisters, Zetta Bordelon of Jonesville, Annie Poulk and Clara Littleton, both of Acme. Pallbearers were: James Kirby, Nathan Gallender, Dad Douzat, George Brownlee, Mob Laprier and R.B. Fritz. Funeral services were under the direction of Hixson Brothers of Jena.
