Womack of Jonesville Dies; Relatives Here J. G. Womack, 38, a Jonesville banker, died early Friday, April 6 in an Alexandria hospital. Mr. Womack was a businessman and planter and a veteran of World War II. Funeral services were held at 3 pm Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. J. O. McNair and the Rev. Joe Cruse officiating. Followed in the Manifest Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral home of Jena. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dorris Womack of Jonesville; three daughters, Katherine Womack, Brenda Womack, and LaJean Womack, all of Jonesville; two brothers, George C. Womack and Milford T. Womack, both of Manifest, and his mother, Mrs. G. C. Womack of Manifest. Pallbearers were Eddie Davis, Bob Cotton, A. D. Taylor, Buddy Willis, Dee Brown, Jr., Henry Taliferro, D. H. Purvis and Al Boughton. Honorary pallbearers were the Board of Directors of the Catahoula Bank, O. R. Wurster, H. A. Taliaferro, R. A. Taliaferro, R. B. Riley, R. R. Reeves, and Wedon T. Smith.
