S. Hwy. 165 in Grant Parish, according to state police. Authorities reported that he was killed when his car plunged off the road. Funeral services were held Sunday at 4:00 pm at Zenoria Baptist Church with the Rev. Earnest Walker officiating. Burial was in Chalk Hill Cemetery of Zenoria with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home, Jena. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde P. Weaver of Fishville; four sisters, Mrs. Sue Whiddon of Evangeline, Miss Lea Ella Weaver of Pineville, Mrs. Elizabeth Agosto of Lake Charles, and Mrs. Janie Gayle Henderson of Hampton, Va.; and his grandmother, Mrs. Ella Whately of Zenoria.
