He was employed by the state department of highways. Services conducted by the Rev. Jimmie Sheppard were held at White's Ridge Cemetery near Jonesville at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 8, with interment there also. Hixson Brothers of Jena had charge. Survivors include a wife, Mrs. Emily White of Jonesville; one brother, Hartwell White of Jonesville, and three sisters, Mrs. Lucy White of Longview, Texas, Mrs. Gladys Morace of Eva, La., and Mrs. Blanch Breland of Nebo. Pallbearers were Seab Mount, Darrel White, William Ivey, Buddy White, Walter White, and Don Riley.
