Headline:  Mrs. Harriet White is Buried in Jena; Dies in Wink, Tex.

Mrs. Harriet Jane White, 77, of Wink, Texas, who died at her home Monday, was 
buried at Nolley Memorial Cemetery in Jena Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. White was a sister of Jess Whatley of Jena.

A member of the Baptist Church, the services for Mrs. White were held at 
Nolley Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. W. O. Lynch and the Rev. J. P. 
Owens conducting the final rites which were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday.  
Interment was under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Home for Funerals, 
Jena.

In addition to her brother, Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Mrs. 
Pearl Little of Wink, Texas, and Mrs. Bernice Stein of New Orleans; four 
sons, Cliff White of Wink, Texas, Wayne White of New Orleans, Ray White of 
Odessa, Texas, and Rex White, address not given; 18 grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.
