Night Winnfield, La., Aug. 26 - Mrs. O. S. Wallace, aged 74 years, died suddenly at her home here Sunday at midnight, 10 minutes after she had been stricken with a heart attack. Mrs. Wallace was a member of one of the prominent families of Winn Parish. She was a daughter of the late William and Marina McCarty Peters and widow of the late James T. Wallace, who died in 1907. The funeral was held from the First Baptist Church Wednesday, Rev. L. D. Posey, of Jena, conducting the services. Sister Lives In Jena. Mrs. Wallace was a sister to Mrs. Cleo Wade of Jena, who went to Winnfield as soon as news was received of her sister's death. Mrs. Wade's many friends extend their sympathy.
