Interment was in the Chalk Hill Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral Home, Jena. Mr. White passed away at 11 p.m., Nov. 22, in Lake Charles, where he has resided approximately three years. He was born in Concordia Parish on February 8, 1870. He was a blacksmith by occupation. He is survived by four sons, who are Ernest of Jena; Theodore of Falls Creek, Ore.; Oscar of Lake Charles and Columbus of Lake Charles. One daughter, Mrs. Clara Terrell of Zenoria; 10 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers at the funeral were James White, Weldon White, Cecil White, Word King, Nickie Len Terrell, and Woodie Watson.
