Wallace Funeral services for Mrs. Lena L. Wallace, 74, who died January 20 at 10:40 a.m., were held at the Big Creek Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. January 21 with Rev. M. E. Mercer and Rev. Ernest Scott of Colfax officiating. Mrs. Wallace was born in Grant Parish but has been a resident of this community all of her life. She is survived by her husband, William Wallace of Pollock; five brothers, John of Sicily Island, Jessie of Parr, J. E. of Wisner, Joshua Marshal of Pollock and Rev. Joel McKey of Kilburn; and three sisters, Mrs. T. C. Coleman of Pollock, Mrs. T. J. Foster of Dry Prong and Mrs. E. W. McDonald of Dry Prong. Interment took place at the Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena.
