Sub-Headline:  Betty Y. Wall

Betty Y. Wall, 78, of Brookhaven, Mississippi, and formerly of Jena, died at 
8:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 29, 1999, in Southern Care Nursing Home in 
Brookhaven.  

She was a retired air compressor mechanic.

Services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 2, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. E. C. Wiley officiating.

Interment followed in the  Jena Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, 
Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Valentour Bennett of new Orleans; 
five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Michael Flanagan, Timothy Johnson, Salvador Boemia, Alvin 
Babineaux, Bobby Cowart, and Tony Lightfoot.
