Headline:  Century Old Farmer Claimed by Death at Olla Home

Funeral services for John C. Walker, 100 years, retired farmer of Olla, rte. 
1, who died September 11 at 12 o'clock midnight, were held September 12 at 
the Harris Cemetery at 2 p.m.

Deceased was born in Selma, Ala., but came here 32 years ago, where he has 
resided since that time.  He was married in 1904 to Miss Mary Ann Thornton in 
Olla, who with one son, Jim Walker of Olla, route 1, and one daughter, Emily 
Arnold of Crowville, survives.

Arrangements were by Upshaw Funeral Home, Olla.
