Woodward, 88, of Georgetown, died at 8:15 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2001, in Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was a homemaker, member of Georgetown Baptist Church and Georgetown eastern Star No. 71, as well as the Georgetown Homemakers Club. Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 24, in Georgetown First Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmie Griffin officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Pineville under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one sister-in-law, one niece, three nephews, and one great- niece. Pallbearers were Johnny Maxwell, terry Maxwell, Roy Max Brazzell, David Cook, Bob Dean, Jr., and Wayne Carter. Honorary pallbearers were Billy Hugh Fullerton, Quinton Ates, W. C. Holloway, Leo Cook, O'Neal Kees, and L. W. Mackay.
