Williams Buried Here Sunday Albert Sydney Williams of Collinston route, Bastrop, a former resident of Jena and father of Mrs. Willie Smith of Jena, was buried here Sunday afternoon. Mr. Williams, 80 years of age was a retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church. Death came at his home following ill health of some five years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Williams of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Willie Smith of Jena and Mrs. A. S. Tomlinson of Bastrop; two stepdaughters, Mrs. J. J. Williams of Oak Grove and Mrs. Claude Braswell of Warren, Ark.; two stepsons, Charlie Collins of Mooringsport and John Collins of Laird Hill, Texas; a brother, J. J. Williams of Oak Grove, and four grandchildren. Services were held at East Jena Baptist Church with the Revs. W. R. Rogers and J. R. Miller conducting the final rites. Interment followed in the Hair Cemetery of East Jena, under direction of Kinner-Stevens Home for Funerals, Jena.
