Wilson Thomas J. Wilson, 76, of Winnfield, died Thursday, December 7, 1995, at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was a retired employee of Urania Lumber Company, a member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Winnfield, and a veteran of World War II where he received the Purple Heart. He was born in Clarks on April 17, 1919, to the union of Tom and Lula Lowe Wilson. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 from the First United Pentecostal Church of Winnfield with the Revs. Henry W. Smith and Crawford Coon officiating. Burial followed in the Urania Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Survivors include one son, Allard Wilson of Tallahassee, Fla.; three daughters, Patsy Roath of Mansfield, Tommie Brazzell of Sikes and Sarah Nation of Olla; one brother, James Wilson of Georgetown; two sisters, Blanchie Teddlie of Winnfield and Mary LaBaron of Verda; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
