ELIZA JANE YOUNG

Mrs. Eliza Jane Young, age 73, died at the home of W.H. Bass on 2nd day of
April at 6:45, was buried at __ the Heard cemetery near Manifest April 3rd
with Rev. B.A. Miley of Harrisonburg officiating.

Mrs. Young was a life long resident of Catahoula parish, was married in the
year 1881, and a member of the Baptist church of Manifest.

She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Mrs. Eloise Bass, Jonesville;
three sons, Cooley and Doc. M. of Jonesville, Richard of Lake Charles; three
sisters, Mrs. Nancy Albritton of Wisner; Mrs. Gertrude Patton of Natchez,
Miss.; Mrs. Clara C. Brown of Orange, Texas; two half sisters, Hazel French
and Ola Smith of Orange, Texas; two brothers, Andrew and Henry Smith of
Jonesville; two half brothers, Rastus Smith Jonesville, Thompson Smith,
Pennsylvania, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Jena.
