Headline:  Area Deaths

Wilma Raye Nethery Zeagler, 71, of Olla, died Friday, January 7, 2000, at her 
residence.

She and her husband own and operate the Olla Insurance Agency in Olla.  She 
was a member of the First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School, a 
member of the Pinewood Garden Club and the bridge club.

She was born in Tullos on Feb. 6, 1928, to the union of Wilbur P. and Edith 
Brandin Nethery.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, at the First Baptist Church 
in Olla with Rev. Milton Wilson officiating.

Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home 
of Olla.

Survivors include her husband, Benny Zeagler of Olla; one son, Jeffery 
Zeagler of Olla; one daughter, Candy Carroll of Olla; two sisters, Ann Talley 
and Bettye McDonald, both of Olla; one brother, Glen Nethery of Diamondhead, 
Miss.; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Eddie Coolman, Blake Sims, Ray Duke, Kenneth Winberry, D. L. 
McDougald, and Bernard Miller.

Honorary pallbearers were Shelby Loe, Dr. K. P. Mauterer, and J. T. Thompson.

Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Monroe.
