She was a homemaker and a resident of Good Pine for 45 years. Services were held a 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at Good Pine Baptist Church with the Revs. B.G. Dyess and Jeff Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Pineville under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Lafitte of Lakehills, Texas; one son, Robert A. Plunkett of Pasadena, Texas; eight grandchildren, 13 grreat- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbears were L. Roger Dobbs,Jr., Joel Tucker, J.C. Tucker, Clinton Plunkett David Cole and Mike Lafitte. (The Jena Times, Wednesday, December 3, 1997)
