She was a food service personnel with the parish school system and a member of the Aimwell Pentecostal Church. She was born in Jena on December 1, 1951, to the union of Woodie and Mamie Williamson Poole. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30 at Aimwell Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Kirk Mayo, Everett "Shorty" Mayo and Mike Poole officiating. Survivors include one son, Gregg Poole of Aimwell; four sisters, Velma Ford, Shirley Smith and Emalean Oxner, all of Aimwell and Ruth Butler of Pineville; three brothers, Melvin Poole and Douglas Poole, both of Jena and Clifton Poole of Olla; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Richard Williamson, Kim Poole, Kevin Poole, Scotty Poole, Jeffery Ford and Jamie Robertson. (The Jena Times, Wednesday, December 3, 1997)
