He was a retired carpenter and farmer. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Belah with Brothers Jerry Melot, Michael Williamson and Stanley Dickson officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Mary Cassie Mitchell Price of Trout; three daughters, Jo Ann Smith of Trout, Mary Gayle King of Jonesville and Patricia Fern Cockerham of Colonial Heights, Va.; one son, Eddie Ray Price of Gainsville, Ga.; one sister, Jane Price Morace of Pineville; ten grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Price, Ronnie King, Ray Bailey, Curt Bradshaw, Billy Savoy and Gerald Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers were Julian Ratcliff and J. W. Hudspeth.
