All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** PRICE, Mary Cassie Mary Cassie Price, 78, of Belah, died at 7:05 p.m., Wednesday, February 4, 1998, in Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria from injuries she received in an automobile accident near Jena on January 30. She was a retired employee of Pinecrest State School and a homemaker. Services were held a 2 p.m., Friday, February 6, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Brothers Jerry Melot, Michael Williamson, and Stanley Dickson officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include three daughters, Jo Ann Smith of Trout, Mary Gayle King of Jonesville and Patricia Fern Cockerham of Colonial Heights, Va.; one son, Eddie Ray Price of Gainsville, Fla.; one sister, Myrtle Savoie of Trout; ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several step-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Danny Price, Ronnie King, Ray Bailey, Billy Savoie, Gerald Mitchell and Steven Mitchell. (The Jena Times, Wednesday, February 11, 1998)
