He was a dispatcher in the trucking industry and a member of Michael Dempsey Lodge F&AM No. 327. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 9, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Denver McBroom and Ed Smith officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Deschaine of Muskogee, Okla., Sharon Cannit of Memphis, Tenn. And Stacie Strain of Urania; three sons, Robert A. Price of Groves, Texas, James Paul Price of Nederland , Texas, and Steven Price of Livingston, Texas; two sisters, Geraldine clark of Olla and Carol Ainsworth of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Hollis Price of Hollywood, Calif. and Grady Price of Nederland, Texas; and Seven grand- chilren.
