A homemaker, she was born May 12, 1933, at Gaars Mill to the union of Andrew Jackson and Jessie Marie Holder Wells. She was an active member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Olla. Services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 15, from the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Olla with the Revs. D.R. Boney, David Jones and Mike Russell officiating. Interment followed in the Wright Cemetery near Sikes under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Survivors include one son, Charles Raymond Pepper of Summit, Ms.; four daughters, Diane Jones of Meridian, Ms., Velda Russell of Prospect, Peggy Smith of Olla, and Patricia Boyd of Dry Prong; one brother, LaVelle Wells of Olla; two sisters, Carmie Robinson of Natchitoches and Cecile Smith of Olla; 12 grandchildren, one of which she raised as a son, Glen Lasyone of Urania; and three great-grandchildren.
