All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Emma Paul is Buried on Thursday; Dies at Sanitarium Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Paul aged 56 years, 4 months and 20 days, were held at Pine Grove at 11 o'clock last Thursday morning with interment following in the cemetery at that place. Rev. B. T. Goodwin and Rev. John Kendrick officiated while funeral arrangements were under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Jena Funeral undertakers. Mrs. Paul died in the LaSalle sanitarium in Olla Wednesday where she had been conveyed a week previously. She had been in ill health for some time and her death while not entirely unexpected, came as a distinct shock to her many relatives and friends of this section. She was born at Archie and had been a resident of this section her entire life. The deceased is survived by her husband, Marion Paul and the following children: A. G. , Audria, Steve and Laura {aul, all of Archie. She also leaves one brother, S. C. Crooks, Sr. of Jena, as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
