She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Jena. She was born March 14, 1929, in Holly Grove, Ark., to the union of W. H. and Margaret Compton Templeton. Services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 22, in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. A. L. Norsworthy and Dr. William Poe officiating. Interment followed in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Moses of Jena and Martha Bragg of Albuquerque, N.M.; one sister, Mary Ann Plumlee of Mansfield, Tx.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Walter Craig, Robert Lewis, Tom Watkins, Ken Stevens, Gary Wilbanks, and Johnnie Phillips.
