Connie Darlene Price

Connie Darlene Price, 39, of Belah, died at 8:44 p.m., Thursday, January 28,
1999, at her residence in Belah following an extended illness.

She was a secretary for the LaSalle Parish School Board and a member of
Fellowship Baptist Church.

She was born March 20, 1959, at Jena, to the union of Earl and Cessie Price.

Services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 30, at Fellowship Baptist Church
with the Revs. Randy Ray, Carl Gulde, and Packy Thompson officiating.

Burial followed in the Belah Cemetery of Belah under direction of Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one son, Jason Earl Price of Belah; one sister, Gloria Jean
Gulde of Belah; one brother, Harvey Joe Price of Belah; and her mother,
Chessie Price of Belah.

Pallbearers were Mickey Cockerham, Danny Price, Eddie Gene Brooks, Jimmy
Ganey, Allen Jones, and Glen Humphries.

Honorary pallbearers were Cary McGuffee, Elvin Allbritton, Dr. Joe Tarpley,
and Buck Jones.
