October 19, 1987, at her home of an apparent heart attack. She was a housewife. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Revs. S. B. Spinks and Crawford Coon officiating. Burial followed at the Nebo Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her husband, William (Billy) Paul of Midway; a son, Kenneth William Paul of Jena; two daughters, Mrs. Dana Carrol Marshall of Nebo and Mrs. Tamara Lynette McCarter of Monroe; her father, Oscar Whatley of Jena and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Andy Paul, Cheston Paul, Gordon Paul, Dean Paul, John Huffman and David Yule.
