She was former Court Reporter for the 28th Judicial District Court and a member of East Jena Baptist Church. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at East Jena Baptist Church with Revs. Truman Leach and Mickey Bounds, officiating. Interment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Frank A. Peppers of Jena; two sons, Carlson Peppers and Toby Peppers, both of Jena; two daughters, Eileen Head of Jena and Yvette McCullin of Shreveport; three sisters, Valaree Poole and Mutt Stringer, both of Jena and Epho Mcentyre of Farmerville; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were Robert Crooks, W. G. Wilson, Wayne Richardson, Cleveland Poole, Douglas Powell and Clarence Durham.
