"Fats" Pritchard, 70, of Sharptown, died at 7:55 a.m. Friday, March 2, 1990 at his residence. He was a retired oil field laborer, and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena with the Revs. Walter G. Lloyd and Troy Cockerham, officiating. Burial followed at Pritchard Cemetery near Jena under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Clara Pritchard of Sharptown; two sons, Drewett J. Pritchard of Nebo and Willie "Bill" Pritchard of Sandy Lake; two daughters, Sue Warwick of Sharptown and Laura Hutchins of Jena; two sisters, Peggy Rosier of Trout and Mary Ann Coleman of Jonesville; and ten grandchildren. Pallbearers were Gerald Pritchard, LaVelle Pritchard, Pap Pritchard, Dale Pritchard, Bear Pritchard and Butch Neal.
