Parker, 93, of Gulfport, Mississippi, died on Wednesday, April 11, 1990. He was retired Cities Service oilfield worker and formerly of Olla. He was a veteran of World War I. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Arlington Cemetery in Homer; with Riemann Funeral Home in charge of interment. Survivors include his wife, Mable Lowery Parker of Gulfport, Miss.; a son, Leonard Wayne Parker of Biloxi, Miss.; a brother, Edwin Parker of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Velma Cox and Mary Lee Jones, both of Benton and Fannie Fortson of Keatchie; and two grandchildren.
