Charlie Moses Phillips, 91, of Westwood Nursing Home in Shreveport and
formerly of Jena, died at the nursing home on Sunday, August 19, 1990 at 4:00
p.m.

He was a retired farmer.

Services will be held Thursday, August 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of
Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of jena with Rev. Ronald Edge officiating.

Burial will follow at Pritchard Cemetery of Harrisonburg under direction of
Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Jearldean Johnson of Bossier City; a sister,
Tina Hardison of Monroe; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
