Pritchard, Sr., 67-year-old retired painter, died last Wednesday, May 24, 1978, at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church of near Jena. Services were held on Friday, May 26, at 2:00 p.m at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena with Rev. P.A. (Fox) Paul and Rev. Kenneth Boyd, officiating. Burial followed in the Woodland Cemetery of Jena with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Inc. of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Pamela Parker of Sulphur; one son, Cary F. Pritchard, Jr., stationed with the U.S. Army in South Caroline; two brothers, John R. Pritchard and Flloyd Pritchard, both of Jena; four sisters, Miss Mattie Pritchard, Miss Lillie Maude Pritchard, Mrs. Addie Coleman, Mrs. Marie Simmons, all of Jena; and one grandchild. Pallbearers were Donnie Bell, N. A. McDaniel, Tommy Henley, Curtis Koonce, Kenny McMillin and Rickey Bell. Honorary pallbearers were Andy Girlinghouse, Gary Conn, Ivy Smith and Darrell Clark.
