All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Wanda Poole Died In oklahoma Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda (Hughes) Poole, 57, of 401 South Houver, Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away Sunday (June 4, 1978) in Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, were held at 2;00 p.m. Wednesday at the Henninger-Allen Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Ron Fellenenne, officiating. Burial followed in Memorial Place Cemetery of Enid under direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home. Mrs. Poole was born Dec. 1, 1920, in Alva, Okla. where she was reared, later moving to Enid where she married Louis Poole on Nov. 26, 1944. The couple has made their home in Enid since then. She was employes for 10 years at Enid Tag Agency as a realtor and later with the Katherine Wilson Agency and then with Garner Agency, where she remained until her retirement in 1976. Mrs. Poole was a member of the First Baptist Church of Enid, a member of the Board of Realtors, American Business Women Association and American Cancer Society, the Baptist Medical Center onocology pastoral care of Oklahome City. Survivors include her husband, Louis of Enid; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Connie) Wesala of Rochester, Minn., and Peggy Poole of Stillwater, Okla.; one grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Roy (Naomi "sandy") Tesch of Milwaukee, Wis.; one niece and one nephew.
