He was a retired oilfield worker and a veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II. Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 26, in the First United Pentecostal Church of Jena with Rev. Crawford Coon officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery of Trout under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Annie Windham Price of Jena; two daughters, Pat Cruse of Jena and Rose Price of Costa Mesa, Calif.; one son, Ronald Price of Trout; five sisters, Robbie Brown and Lottie Corley, both of Jena, Lou Randall of Harrisonburg, Lucy James of Denver, Colo., and Ida Warner of New Braunfels, Tx.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers were James Cruse, Stephen Price, Marcus Price, Coe Zeagler, Andrea Cruse, and James Price. Honorary pallbearers were Virgil Terral, W. E. Lawrence Poole and the Rev. V. T. Bradford officiating. Burial will follow in the Jena Cemetery under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.
