He was a retired equipment operator with the Louisiana Department of Highways and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. S.B. Spinks officiating. Burial followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Neva Taylor of Hammond; one son, Johnny Rosier of Baton Rouge; one sister, Myrtle tingle of Shreveport; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harold Windham, Francis Clements, Carl Peavy, Donnie Peavy, Billy Tingle, hunter Durham, Nathan Hudson and Chris Bennett.
