Julia Ann Rankin

Julia Ann Rankin, 100, of Tullos, died at 2:38 p.m., Monday, October 5, 1998,
ay the LaSalle General Hospital of Jena.

She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Tullos.

She was born December 24, 1897 at Spaulding to the union of John and Lou Ellen
Gough Steen.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 8, at the First Baptist
Church in Tullos with the Revs. Lee Thomas and james Brown officiating.

Interment followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Pineville under direction of
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ann Sagdahl of Tullos; two sons, John D.
rankin of Houston, Texas and L. M. "Bud" Rankin of Tullos; seven
grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John David Rankin, John Paul Rankin, Brian Rankin, Chip
Harris, Huey Lizana and J. C. "Buck" Borland.
